Automatic Test Sheet Generator
The Test Sheet Generator was a project that came to be during the beginning stages of Goodyear's SLP plant start up in Mexico in 2017. The plant started to see an accelerated increase in tire development and monitoring tests due to the production ramp up and this required a more standardized and error proof system to keep up with demands.
During the first stages of Goodyear's SLP project the test sheets used to be created manually by the Tire Testing Laboratory Manager. Even though the company has clear instructions and guidelines regarding tire testing, creating a test sheet manually that complied with all requirements was a challenge. This is the reason why, when I was given the job, one of my main priorities was to establish an error proof system that would reduce drastically the chances of having an incorrect test sheet template.

Given this, and with the knowledge I've acquired during my time in university and programming in robotics I decided to create a simple program that would follow all the guidelines stated by Goodyear that would create a test sheet automatically. This allowed the personnel to have the information quickly and with a reduced risk of human error.

This improvement is still being used by the plant even though I am no longer performing the job of Tire Testing Laboratory Manager.
