Ultra-High Performance Tire Line
Ultra-High Performance tires are specially design for sports cars to perform at their peak.
Once the news arrived that Goodyear SLP would working and producing these kinds of tires, and given that I really like motorsports such as F1, I immediately jumped into the occasion and became the lead green tire designer engineer for the project.
The project originally consisted on designing the introducing to production 16 different sizes to the plant.

Ultra-High performance tires are challenging not only due to the fact that have to endure high speeds and high temperature, but because we, the engineers have to keep in mind that there are standards for grip, comfort and maneuverability that the tire line has to hit.

This tires were not only produced and tested locally in Mexico but they were also sent to Goodyear's testing facilities for rigorous benchmark testing. The tires designed in the plant were a success, and due to the fact that they outperformed the tires used as benchmarks on every test, Goodyear decided to make an increase of sizes and later on, start the development of newer models of the tire line with me as a lead green tire engineer.
